Elderly woman strikes two buildings in Lakewood (PHOTOS)

An elderly woman struck two buildings in Lakewood this morning.

At approximately 9:00 AM, the approximately 80-year-old woman was reportedly parked or attempting to park in the NPGS parking lot on Main Street, when she backed into the laundromat building. She then hit the gas, crashing into multiple shopping carts and then the NPGS building.

It’s unknown what caused the accident, in which she suffered minor injured.

She was transported to the hospital by Hatzolah.

  2. She probably should not be driving anymore. She is lucky that is all what happened to the car and that she’s basically OK. Perhaps she should not be driving anymore.
