A press conference was held this afternoon in Lakewood, updating the media about the condition of the victims of the High Point blaze, and the efforts underway to help the families.
The meeting, held at the Board of Education offices, was hosted by BOE Attorney Michael Inzelbuch and Superintendent Laura Winters.
Chai Lifeline’s Rabbi Sruli Fried, Bikur Cholim’s Rabbi Yehuda Kaszirer and LCSW’s Ray Chebroni spoke about the community’s efforts to help the families, both with food, clothing and supplies, as well as with social and medical services.
The mother and grandmother of the burn victims spoke as well, and thanked the community for the outpouring of support.
