[COMMUNICATED] Imagine walking through a store, loading your cart as you shop from the best selection you can imagine, and when you’re done, you don’t wait on line, you don’t have to bag your items, you just pay and leave. Too good to be true? Nope. Just as you’ve come to expect, too good to be true is the reality at Bingo.
Bingo is the first store in the USA to offer SmarCheckout, the smartest way to shop. With SmartCheckout you put your bags or boxes right into your cart, scan your membership card, take your personal wireless scanner and shop. You scan each item and pack it as you shop so that you never have to wait in line. It cannot be simpler to use.
SmartCheckout puts you in control of your entire shopping experience. You can not only shop at your own pace, but you can also even checkout the way you like – fast! So, if you’re like most people and you hate wasting your time standing in line at the store, be smart and use SmartCheckout at Bingo.
This popular system has been a game changer in Israel’s Osher Ad chain and it is now in Lakewood, only at Bingo. Once you try SmartCheckout at Bingo you will never want to shop any other way.
While you never know what is going to happen next at Bingo, one thing is for sure, you’re going to love it.
First store in the USA? Stop and shop has it….
I am excited for Bingo – but I have been doing this for a while at Stop ‘n Shop – so it’s not the first place in the US. Perhaps it is the first totally kosher grocery store that is utilizing this.
Yes truly innovative but not the first in the USA to have it…that’s a bold statement considering that locally here in Lakewood Stop n Shop has it..I’m not even getting into Amazon’s completely wireless stores…
Um… Stop and Shop had this system for awhile before stopping it. Not sure why you wrote that bingo is the first to have this system??
They’ve been doing this in Brooklyn for a while. In reality, it doesn’t save much time and it might actually take longer since you have to print a label for each individual produce item. The benefit is that checkout is quick so your perishables will fare better
Now I can get a Heter for a Smart phone since if I shop using ‘smartcheckout’ it will cause less bitul Toireh.
Go Bingo Go.
Your increasing Toireh in Lakewood.
silly why a heter for a smartphone? no smartphone needed to use the smartcheckout they have their own devices
I guess if you make up a new name – you’ll be the first store in the USA – I’ve seen such devices in Stop & Shop. First Kosher Supermarket would be more accurate
Is anyone aware if Stop and Shop had this device before? (Yes I am being sarcastic). Buy anyway, what about fruits and veggies? How do you weigh them?
Could you all stop going against and being nice to the owner its before jom hadin
We’ve had this for a while in Israel, and not only in Osher Ad/Bingo. On a small shopping, it saves time. When you fill a cart, it usually doesn’t, because the machine takes longer to scan and calculate than the regular checkout machines do. If you buy alcohol you need to wait for an employee to OK your age, if you buy produce you need to put it on the scale and print labels, etc. Definitely a game-changer if you want to “run in” and buy a few items, though!
