In response to the letter by Mayor Coles penned a couple months back upon request of TLS and its readers, Verizon is working on change.
Due to the fact that Lakewood, according to the company, has the highest concentration of 3G network users on their network, it put a drag on the system.
One of the things the company said it would do, was possibly offer a 4G phone phone for users who wished to keep filtering on their phone, thereby easing the drag by the 3G users.
Now, in conjunction with a filtering company, Verizon has offered a 4G phone, as well as technicians on site to install filters in an effort to bring relief to the network.
See the flyer below.
in 7 hours the problem ill be fixed ? too many customers for small time span.
What about AT&T. Why is that never addressed. I have such problems in my area and home with AT&T service and I never see this issue addressed. I am constantly losing service in the Ridge/Somerset/Raintree area. Does anyone else have this issue?
At&t is terrible all over town it’s time to make some noise to get them moving like verizon is
I have AT&T issues in the ridge / raintree area as well.
Driving down Ridge & new Hampshire area, my calls always go dead.
FYI, There is a $40 “upgrade fee”, 2 yr agreement, and other fine print that needs to be met… I got a my Koshered 4G flip shipped from WayMore Wireless in Lakewood. Similar deal, less strings attached (and a drop cheaper)
Verizon is permanently impossible, while their costs are exorbitant. It’s a business so big that they managed to have gotten a lot of us good and get away with it. It’s service is as all will attest to, sub-standered while their ever increasing fees find its way on the bill ever increasing. Sad!
Switch the T-Mobile they have become the best in the last few years.
Kosher Kyocera available from SafeCell for just $85 and I don’t have to pay upgrade fee or sign up to any contracts!
To be honest, anyone who is used to a keyboard on a 3g slide phone is not going for the upgrade. They need a 4g phone with a keyboard that is still not a smartphone
at this point Verizon Can Offer what ever they want, in lakewood they lost their trust. over all the service is terrible. i was an ATT customer for 7 years & because of a small outage in the area i allowed myself to be convinced to switch to Verizon only to find out that they pride them selves with NOTHING. not locally, not out of-town & not overseas.
phones break easy LG Exalt
also not making phone muhc longer according to verizon
Service Lousy…
