VIDEO: President Trump tours progress of border wall

In San Diego, California, President Donald J. Trump got an up-close look at the great progress being made on new and replacement border wall.

“We’re building it at a breakneck speed,” the President said after receiving an update from Border Patrol officials. All told, the wall will “be over 400 miles. And we think we can get it close to 500 miles by the end of next year,” he added.

“President Trump’s goal has always been to stop illegal immigration and protect the American people,” the White House said. “Now, with border wall construction underway, the results are undeniable: Illegal border crossings plummeted 30 percent between July and August.”

“Nobody is coming in unless they’re coming in legally. They’re coming in through a process,” the President said.

  1. Promises made promises kept.

Thanks to all the Democrats for their support….oh that’s right they fought this at every step, never mind, we will remember the Democrats in November.

  2. And no where does he mention that no new wall has been constructed. Work that has been done has been in areas that were fenced or protected by only bollards. Private and public landowners have not given permission for the wall to be built on their properties. The devil is in the details and this is a matter of public record. Unfortunately the current administration refuses to tell the truth.
