BREAKING: Person shot at party in Lakewood

Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred at a party in Lakewood, sources told TLS.

At approximately 11:45 PM Friday night, police officers were working an extra duty security assignment on Ocean Avenue when they heard multiple shots fired on the side of the building.

Upon investigation, police found a shooting victim with three gunshot wounds – to the legs and shoulder, sources said. Seven to eight shots were fired, a law enforcement source told TLS.

The victim was transported to JSUMC in stable condition.

Police are reportedly looking for a vehicle that fled the scene.

The OCPO, OCSD K9 & CSI are investigating.

    How can this have happened? Didn’t the Governor a Bill into Law that would have prevented this? Oh wait that law was to put more restriction on the legal gun owners not the illegal gun owners, my mistake. Why doesn’t the Governor find a way to get the illegal guns off the streets, that would seem a better idea.
