Hatzolah of CJ: Last year, Hatzolah of Central Jersey responded to more than 9000 calls in our community. This volume of calls demonstrated unprecedented growth; thus the need for everyone to step up and take responsibility for Hatzolah’s lifesaving work. Boruch Hashem the Lakewood community heard our call.

Throughout this year’s Tomech Campaign, Hatzolah has been quoting this number of 9000 calls, which was a significant increase from previous years. However, upon reviewing the numbers recently, the tally of calls this year has risen to 11,000 calls. This is nearly a 25% increase in just one year, the largest increase seen over the last number of years.

This is a real emergency.

Hatzolah needs you now, more than ever. The Tomeich Hatzolah campaign is what pays for the day to day operating expenses of Hatzolah. That means the bandages, the gauze pads, the oxygen, the respiratory masks, the Epi-Pens, the stethoscopes, the intubation equipment, the radios and so much more. The Tomeich campaign funds the fuel for the ambulances, the insurance needed to operate, the training to keep members up to date – basically everything needed to save a life.
