BREAKING – FIRST REPORT: JACKSON COUNCIL PRESIDENT NIXON RESIGNS

Jackson Township Council President Rob Nixon is resigning. Nixon has been at the center of multiple controversies and legal problems, with Orthodox Jewish resident of the Township accusing him of allowing anti-Semitic characters to essentially dictate Jackson’s policies.

TLS has extensively reported on numerous Nixon-related shenanigans that took place, including his apparent spying on Jewish homes in Brookwood, even as a Township official urged him to stop wasting its resources. More recently, Nixon was named a defendant in an Agudath Israel lawsuit filed against Jackson Township alleging discriminatory behavior against Jews by multiple Jackson government officials.

A source told TLS that Nixon’s resignation was prompted by the extreme pressure he was facing from the multiple lawsuits the Township faces, as well as recent debacles where anti-Semitic statements were allowed to be openly spewed at council meetings.

A second source also told TLS that the lawsuits faced by Jackson were jeopardizing Nixon’s lobbying position at the Police Benevolent Association, as well as his position at a college where he is an adjunct professor.

  1. Another one bites the dust. Good riddance. Kudos to all the askanim/ activists and residents who stood up to this blatant display of anti semitism. Hopefully the rest of the Jackson township now realizes that no one is above the law. We will not tolerate hate. We will fight back.

  2. this is not how a person in galus speaks. You wont tolerate? Fighting?

This is all min hashamayim. It has nothing to do with what you’ll tolerate or fighting
