Gaza Terrorists Fire Rockets At Israeli Citizens (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

The Israel Defense Forces carried out a surgical strike early Tuesday morning that killed Islamic Jihad commander Baha Abu El-Ata, who was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of innocent Israeli citizens. Additionally, the Israel Air Force attacked another Islamic Jihad commander, Akram al-Ajouri, resulting in injuries to Ajouri and the death of his son.

Shortly after the strikes, Islamic Jihad leader Ziad al-Nakhaleh declared all-out war with Israel, saying “Netanyahu has crossed all red lines by assassinating Abu El-Atah.” Terrorists situated in Gaza began assaulting Israeli towns with hundreds of homemade rockets, forcing Israeli schools in southern and central Israel to close for the day.

The IDF responded by bombing numerous terror targets in Gaza, including weapons storage and production compounds, training camps, as well as terrorists who were preparing to fire rockets at Israel. In recent hours, Israeli tanks were seen positioned near the Gaza border, with an incursion into the area likely, according to some military analysts.

Terrorists have continued firing rockets almost continuously since 5 Am Israel-time.

Three people were injured when a rocket landed near some cars on an access road between Gan Yavneh to Ashdod.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Baruch Friedman related from the scene: “Together with other EMS volunteers who arrived, I treated two men who were in their vehicle when the rocket landed. They suffered light injuries from shrapnel caused by the rocket landing. I also treated one woman who was suffering from emotional shock. The rocket landed in close proximity to two vehicles on the road.”

Earlier in the day, United Hatzalah volunteers successfully performed CPR on an 8-year-old girl who fell unconscious after an air raid siren sounded in Holon.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Shmuel Meshullam related from the scene: “When we arrived at the scene neighbors told us that the girl lost consciousness and collapsed in the stairwell as a result of going in to shock after hearing the siren. I together with other EMS volunteers performed CPR on the girl who received numerous shocks from a defibrillator. We succeeded in regaining her pulse after which she was transported to the hospital for further treatment.”

Another ten people were treated for light injuries sustained while running to get into protective shelters. United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit has been active in treating more than a dozen people for shock and emotional stress in various locations across the Gaza periphery.
