PHOTO: Lakewood Fire Department welcomes two new firefighters

The Lakewood Fire District No. 1 Board of Fire Commissioners, along with Fire Chief Mike D’Elia, 1st Assistant Chief Steve Mulholland and 2nd Assistant Chief Jason Wallace, announced the appointments of two new firefighters.

Volunteer Firefighter’s Jeffery Ernst joined Reliance Hose Company No. 4, and Noe Tiro Cervantes Junior Hose Company No. 3.

The Oath-of-Office was administered to both at the Board of Fire Commissioners meeting last night.

    The truth is, our FD vols do NOT get enough thanx and recognition. We should make a dinner once a year to thank them publicly.
