  1. Everyone that wants marijuana can easily get it. So what is the point of it being illegal all that does is waste the police and judges time to fight a lost cause.

  2. Sammy, legal doesn’t mean condoned. It means it’s none of the government’s business to prevent. Unless you want the government value system to be the barometer for what is legal and what is not, you’re better off supporting liberty to pursue happiness in any mannerism which does not directly cause harm to others.

If there would be a law banning people wearing hijabs in public or anything similar, I would hope that the Jewish community would be on the front lines protesting such a thing. This is conceptually only one step removed. Utilization of substances that may be detrimental to ones health or sobriety in an effort to pursue happiness is protected by the same sentence of the Declaration of Independence that guarantees freedom of religion. Being as America is not going to have a Sanhedrin or make laws Al pi hatorah anytime soon, it behoves us to protest any infringement on freedom of religion or pursuit of happiness for a social justice agenda, for ultimately we are dependent on this being a sacred untouchable tenet in US law.

(Citing breakdown of societal moral fiber or any variance of such language is just a regurgitation of social justice activism which leads to communism and outlawing of religion.)
