Eastern Union is on pace to close $5b+ for the second year in a row, and the drive for this growth was how their brokers used the latest in data analytics, business intelligence and basic artificial intelligence to know which clients and deals to focus on and then which banks were best suited to place which deals.

“What used to be a back office low level job is now front and center in every industry,” says Ira Zlotowitz, president of Eastern Union, “The highest paid non-sales positions are those that know which data to track and how to properly use analytics to generate new and more profitable business to their respective company.”

A course and internship will provide true hands-on experience and will work on live data and tackling an actual company project. All attendees will have a leg up when they go out to the job market irrespective of the industry they choose.

Ira Zlotowitz will personally be giving this course along with the assistance of the directors of Eastern’s data, technology and reporting divisions.

There will be an open house this Thursday night, November 14, at 8pm for those interested in hearing more.

The course and internship will run until Rosh Chodesh Adar. The paid internship(!) will be open to 12 of the course applicants and will only require up to 8 hours a week and all hours can be done on each participant’s schedule, and only during Bein HaSedarim. The course would be 1-2 times a week.
