Am I the only person that thinks this post is insane?
No,I agree with you!
Very below typical Lakewood Scoop standards.
Did not watch the video. I do not have any questions for Simcha Leiner.
Simcha Leiner is one multi-talented, great guy!
This is so nice. Simcha is a genuinely nice, normal guy. I remember him from when he lived in Coventry and bought a Piano !! That was, like, big news. And he was an eidel unassuming guy then and now, that hes a superstar, hes STILL an eidel, unassuming guy. And that’s not an easy thing to do.
Continued Hatzlocha to you, R’ Simcha Shlit”a.
Since when does a persons talents translate into us caring about his opinions. This is exactly how the Goyim treat such people.
He has a beautiful voice but let’s not idolize him like the Goyim idolize their movie stars and sports players.
Ask R Chaim or some other Gadol a question, that’s worthy to post.
Why is it insane? theres nothing wrong with it.
Dave, Dave, come now….do you not remember the famous story with R’ Ruderman who had the whole Yeshiva come out to greet a gvir who visited the Yeshiva? His words were that there are many types of gedolim, and this was a gadol btzedaka. I think it is apt to say that Simcha is a gadol bshira. I have never met the man, but have never seen a singer who is so completely ” all in ” when he sings; he leaves it all onstage, he attacks the mike and holds nothing back. I see many younger singers who are unwilling to kick it into high gear and risk the high notes and fall short of spectacular. I recently heard the chazzanus piece that he recorded and it was quite clear he not only prepared well but was willing to go all out and I appreciated the tremendous effort involved. Ask anyone who davens for the amud, it isn’t easy. kudos
Know a thing or two about chazzunus, before typing such a post.
THANKS
No harm to anyone, I’ll go with the hackers and will not be watching the video. I’m careful of the content I import into my brain and soul. I think I’ll be ok moving on. Much hatzlacha to Simcha though, I hear he’s a really great guy.
Leave this stuff for the non jewish rock stars. This is the opposite of what frum Jews do: hatznea leches.
