Campaign launched for victims of the Jersey City tragedy

While still in the throes of shock after the terrible tragedy,

concerned citizens and friends are getting together to launch an emergency campaign to help the families of the victims and the community recover.

The terrible details are still emerging, but the tragic effects are clear – multiple victims have been shot mid-day in a place they considered themselves to be safe.

Their families and the community at large were left reeling while trying to pick up the pieces and return to a modicum of normalcy.

Emergency funds are needed to help the community recover, whether it is putting in place new security measures to prevent such tragedies in the future, grief counselling for the victims’ family members, or therapy for the innocent children who were witnesses to this horrific brutality.

The owner of the grocery store has invested his life savings in this venture with the hopes of helping a fledgling community expand. Now he is left bereft of all, with his future looking bleak.

We must stand in solidarity with the families of Jersey City and respond with our support.

  1. Be careful of these campaigns. Make sure they are real and trustworthy. There hasn’t been a Levaya yet and already a campaign launched. Charidy is only an online host for a campaign. They do not endorse or guarantee it is legit. I’m not saying it’s not legit but who is behind it
