Petirah of Reb Mordechai Kokis Z”L [Updated – Shiva info]

We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Reb Mordechai Kokis Z”L, who was Niftar late last night following an illness. He was in his 40s.

Reb Mordechai Z”L, a Talmid Chochom in his own right, was a son-in-law of Reb Berkowitz, R”M in Ner Yisroel Baltimore, and a grandson of Rav Shmuel Kamenetzky.

The Levaya is scheduled for 9:00 AM Friday morning at BMG Yoshon. Kevurah in Lakewood at the Ramsey Street Chelka.

  3. A very special person. A true pure and ehrliche bal middos and talmid chochom muflag. I remember how upset R Mordechai was when the doctor told him after one of the surgeries that he is not allowed to learn for a few weeks. We have lost a gem. A Jewel in the crown of Hashem.
