[LIVE] NY” Mayor Bill de Blasio has announced a new unit within the NYPD Intelligence Unit. The Racially and Ethically Motivated Unit will monitor activities by people who wish harm on others based on racial or ethnic differences.
He also said that Jewish communities in Brooklyn will have stepped up Police Patrols.
Mr. Mayor, don’t think for a second that your pathetic responses to the attacks on the Jewish community under your jurisdiction doesn’t help perpetuate such incidents.
Everyone watches how the perpetrators of the NYC anti-semitic attacks are dealt with, no punishment other than a slap on the wrist. No jail time. No bail. Nothing.
Why should anyone hesitate to carry out an attack on people who you don’t care about and don’t care to help protect. Nothing happens without the will of G-d, but you are still responsible to do your job and take the proper actions.
Do your job Mr. Mayor and make sure the perps who are acting with no fear of retribution know that their actions will not be tolerated.
Your words mean nothing without any action.
It looks like officials are finally becoming aware that the same people who carry out anti-semitic attacks may be after them as well and that’s given them a wake up call.
The NYPD Intelligence Division was created by Rudy Giuliani. I was part of it. It was led by former SAIC David Cohen from the FBI. It was hamstrung and essentially killed by Michael Bloomberg because of “profiling”. Another fake news grandstand by Demwit DiBlasio.
