Authorities Give Update On Jersey City Shooting

Officials provided an update on the circumstances surrounding the shooting attack in Jersey City.

After several weeks of investigation, law enforcement officials told reporters that the motivation for the attack was clearly based on deeply held anti-Semitic and anti-police views.

They said Detective Joseph Seals, who was killed by the attackers, was at the cemetery where the shooting first occurred to meet an informant when he recognized the stolen U-Haul truck which was of interest in an earlier murder in Bayonne.

Officials said that the Jewish grocery store where the majority of the attack took place was canvassed by the attackers on several occasions before carrying out their attack, and that the Jewish school next door was not a target.

They also researched a Jewish community center in Bayonne, but it is not clear what their plan was to attack that location.

A bomb found in the U-Haul was powerful enough to kill people 5 football fields away, and enough material was found in the truck to create at least one more bomb.

So….Def. Seal saved hundreds of not thousands of lives by losing his own life and forcing these cowards to rush to implement their plans for utter destruction, death, and chaos. A True Hero.

Question to the fbi, how is it someone got so far and wasn’t detected?
