Pedestrian accident shuts part of Ocean Avenue in Lakewood (PHOTO)

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured this evening in Lakewood.

The accident occurred approximately 8:45 OM on Ocean Avenue near Clifton Avenue.

The patient was transported to JSUMC.

Police have shut Route 88 between Clifton and Lexington Avenues for the investigation.
