A Frum homeowner in Lakewood woke up this morning to find eggs dripping from his back door.
The homeowner tells TLS the incident occurred at his Ocean Avenue home sometime overnight.
This incident comes after weeks of vandalism and rock-throwing at homes in a development off of Ocean Avenue.
Police were notified.
This is, of course, a very unfortunate incident, as were the others that occurred in the neighborhood. And of course I hope that those who committed these crimes are caught and prosecuted. However, I assume it wasn’t a surprising incident. I assume those who moved in to those homes knew they weren’t moving into the nicest neighborhood and these incidents were to be expected. I always marvel at some of the neighborhoods where new homes are being built. I know people who thought about moving the the well priced homes in the Ocean Ave. area but decided against it because of safety. While I hope there are no more incidents and I would love to see the area turn around, I still have to think, “Really. What did to expect when you moved there?”
When life gives you eggs,make omelettes. With all the hype about anti-semitism, many closet anti-semites feel justified coming out of the woodwork. All they need is attention. Ignore and they will go away.

Everyone on Ocean ave should go out to shore shot pistol range and buy a shotgun for couple hundred dollars and ask the amazing staff there to show them out to use it. One of these vandals gets one in the chest and this will slow down pretty quickly
Carlos. The Spanish Inquisition was against yidden who converted to Catholicism and were still acting as jews. It was never against Jews. Jews were expelled from Spanish territories and they went to Turkey and Poland, both places that treated them much differently. Catholicism works to convert jews, it does not teach to hurt them.
Carlos, I shudder to think what could happen if vigilantism is encouraged. Throwing eggs is both disgusting and hostile. But it is not a capital offence. And putting a bullet into an egg thrower’s chest will land you behind bars for many years.
Whoever “Get Over It” is, I think they’re sounding rather ridiculous. Why is it considered alright to tell Jews such things as: what did you expect, you already knew that people hated you. It’s as ridiculous as telling a person who’s hispanic that “America is for Americans” or a person who’s black that “the KKK is in the South so what did you expect by living there”. As any law enforcement officer could tell you, one of the best ways to reduce crime is by inundating an area with law abiding people; the Night Out Against Crime is an example. You will not improve an area by telling nice people to stay away.
