Petirah of Reb Duvid Eckstien Z”L [UPDATED]

We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Reb Duvid Eckstein Z”L, who was Niftar this morning after a lengthy illness.

Reb Duvid Z”L was a well-known and beloved member of the Lakewood community, bringing smiles and happiness wherever he went.

Despite his failing health for years, Reb Duvid Z”L would always be seen in Shul, and would attend Simchas and make an effort to be Misameach others with a good word.

He leaves behind his wife and beautiful family.

The Levaya is scheduled for 9:00 AM Tuesday at the 7th Street Chapel (613 Ramsey Avenue, Lakewood), and the Kevurah in Monsey.

    He had a tremendous KOACH to put a smile on others as well.

  3. he once told me about his medical issues, and he said it so calmly, as if it doesn’t bother him at all. most people would complain how hard it is, but not him.
