SOURCES: Top NJ USDA Official Set To Retaliate Against Jackson Councilman | G. Sonnenfeld

Sources have confirmed to TLS that at tonight’s Jackson Township reorganization meeting, Council President Barry Calogero – a USDA official appointed by President Trump – and his fellow Councilmembers will kick Councilman Ken Bressi off of the Planning Board and various subcommittees that he currently serves on.

The news comes on the heels of Bressi’s deposition in court having been leaked online, in which Bressi said that he heard multiple Jackson officials making anti-Semitic statements.

The only logical way to interpret this is that Jackson officials are fed up with dealing with the truth and are willing to punish those that deal in justice and fairness. Councilman Bressi was required to tell, under oath, what he knew, and that it is exactly what he did. What Jackson officials are now doing to him amounts to witness intimidation and retaliation for being honest with the court.

The news also suggests that Jackson officials know that what Bressi said in his deposition is true – that Nixon and others worked with anti-Orthodox groups to keep Jews out of Jackson Township.

Jackson officials have a lot to worry about.

They are embroiled in multiple lawsuits, and many have been caught making anti-Orthodox statements, some of which forced resignations, including from Joe Sullivan, Richard Egan, and, most notably, former Council President Rob Nixon.

But instead of cleaning up their act and working with the plaintiffs to achieve a peaceful and agreeable resolution, they are instead doubling down, choosing to punish those that don’t embrace their perverse and discriminatory behavior.

What Jackson needs aren’t self-serving politicians who will engage in witness intimidation and act to warn others who will out them; what they need is a good look in the mirror at the disgrace that they have become.
