This will stop nothing. Even in the video it shows the person causing the accident is the one that ran the stop sign that has been there for 40 years. Adding traffic control devices only works if people follow them. People will start abiding them if the penalties for violating such laws becomes greater than it is. A $30-$60 fine is not a deterrent.

I appreciate the safety effort.

But unless they install red lights with spike strips that pop up to really stop a car, I can’t see it making a difference.
