A survey asking respondents for their opinion on Jackson Township’s government went viral on social media yesterday.
The survey, which asked respondents for their positions on Jackson’s Council, mayor, and ongoing lawsuits, stopped accepting submissions after apparently hundreds of Jackson residents responded.
The survey has rattled some officials in Jackson and members of anti-Orthodox groups on Facebook and other platforms, with some calling the survey a “trap,” according to sources.
The anonymous survey made its rounds on WhatsApp and Facebook groups and had apparently maxed out its responses within just a few hours.
One Jackson resident told TLS that he was thrilled that this survey was going around.
“Regardless of who made this survey, I’m glad to have been able to respond to it,” the resident said. “It’s about time I got to share my own voice and my opinion on matters that we are facing right now.”
Below is a copy of the questions that were on the now-closed survey.
poll (1)-converted
no one in my area knew anything about it. we would have loved the chance to answer questions…….
Now we want to see the results!!
Cant wait for results…Fox News and Cnn??? I would suggest TV and Billboards be taken out to expose Reina…he us using our Community and is guilty of violating our rights..please resign Reina
I can’t open or zoom in to read it, even on my computer
They’re not trying to survey people’s opinion; they’re trying to inform people of what’s going. This is a trick politicians often use to make their opponents look bad under the guise of an anonymous survey. Hope it works
As much as this “resident” is happy to “share his voice and opinion”, meanwhile the only one who it was shared with is the anonymous sender.
Mouse to bottom and zoom controls will appear.
