Ocean County GOP Screening Committee Makes Endorsements

The Ocean County GOP’s screening committee today made their official endorsements for the upcoming June primaries.

The screening committee endorsed incumbent Representative Chris Smith in NJ-04, former Burlington County Freeholder Kate Gibbs to challenge Democrat Andy Kim in NJ-03, Rep. Jeff Van Drew in NJ-02, Joseph Vicari for Freeholder, Ocean County Clerk Scott Colabella, and businessman Rick Mehta for US Senate.

If the GOP council accepts the endorsements of the screening committee, the candidates will have the official Republican ballot line at the primary on June 2.
