  1. Oish, what a loss. I first became friendly with Mrs Tesser from when I was neighbors with Yitzy on Forest and 2nd, a few yrs ago. I then saw her many times over the years. Such a nice, friendly lady who was mamesh steeped with Emunah P’shuta. She didnt have a very easy life but nothing was ever a problem. Hashem will help, Hashem is in charge. And her sons, aintz nuch anand, are tachshitim in their own right.

  2. So sad to hear of her passing. She taught me in second grade (many years ago) She was so full of life and one of the happiest people. She made school so enjoyable and taught a lot through songs and poetry. I’ve met her over the years and found her to always be so wise and considerate. Tehei zichra boruch!

  5. Bubby Tesser was a giant in our family and in the community. Born 83 years ago in Vienna, Austria to Yohonason and Henna Neumann. Whe she was 2 years old the family moved to Elizabeth, NJ. She later married my Zaidy, R’ Asher Tesser z”l. They moved to Lakewood where R’ Asher learnt by R’ Aaron zt”l.
Around 10 years later they moved to Monsey, becoming a well known and a staple of Judaism there.
They had 7 amazing sons who all besides one (lives in Baltimore) live in Lakewood. My grandparents instilled in them tremendous Ahavas Hatorah and Chessed that shows through the generations. Zaidy Tesser was nifter almost 26 years ago. Bubby Tesser returned to Lakewood a few years after that, once again to become an integral part of the Lakewood community. Her personality and wit made her a role model to all. She cared so much for her family and all of Klal Yisroel. She will be missed beyond words. May she be a Meilitz Yosher on her family, and on everyone.

    Yehi Zichra Baruch.
