  2. Even though the headline of this was meant in the fun of trash talking it is a mistake to do so. The entire event and anything related should be in appreciation of the police and that they even agreed to take out of their time to have such a pleasant community game. Anything that can be taken as competition to put the other down is inherently disrespectful. Even though it’s in jest it is still experienced as a put down even though it is normal to do so and is smiled at. Inside people are bothered and dislike it which is why they play harder to prove you wrong. The only message that should be from us in the community is respect and happy to be afforded the opportunity to have a fun time with our full time security force who literally risk their lives every time they put on their uniform.
