AUDIO: Sanz-Klausenburger Rebbe: Those who don’t follow doctors’ orders, Government laws, and Rabbonim guidelines are Rotzchim

In a powerful teleconference Erev Rosh Chodesh followed by Yom Kippur Katan, the Sanz Klausenburg Rebbi addressed the current situation, and the Rebbe had some strong words for those who don’t follow orders from doctors, Rabbonim and the Government.

The Rebbi emphasized that one is required according to the Torah to do all he can to protect himself from any harm and danger, and quoted many Chazal which state that someone that endangers himself is mezalzel in the Mitzvah of V’nishmartem Me’od L’nafshosechem.

Tefilah Btzibur is a very special thing, and an extremely important Mitzvah, the Rebbe stated, but added that’s only when the Rabbonim and doctors allow it. He quoted a famous Baal Shem Tov on the Gemara in mesechtas Shabbos,

In a tearful plea, the Rebbi begged people to be extra vigilant, and rather be called a Shotah all your life than a Rasha for one minute. No one has the right to endanger themselves.

The Rebbi said clearly by taking the proper precautions we are saving lives.

“Baruch Hashem we have homes to quarantine in, there is a requirement to stay home besides for crucial necessities, and when returning home follow medical guidance and make sure to properly wash your hands. Anyone with a drop of Yirei Shmayim understands at this time you stay home.”

  1. Great & most important article. I just don’t understand what it would take to get everyone to just LISTEN to our manhigim. Whay do some people just NEED to be different.?

  2. Dr. Dietchik has been saying this for weeks. At first I thoughtit was being too rough but then realizedhes 100% right.
I’m happy that the Rebbeh,Shkit”a is also using this terminology.
There are still people being way to lax about this.
    Come on guys, stay home.
    Stay safe.
