Upon moving from Chicago in 2005, Dr. Sokol joined the team at Ocean County Internal Medicine until his retirement in 2016.

Throughout his tenure in Lakewood and beyond, Dr. Sokol established a stellar reputation as a soft spoken and kind-hearted individual whose life revolved around doing acts of Chessed with utmost humility. More often than not, even his closest family members were not privy to all that he was doing for others.
