Governor Phil Murphy met with President Trump at the White House today, where they discussed federal efforts to assist New Jersey during the Covid-19 pandemic, further coronavirus testing, and planning to re-open the state.
Governor Murphy told President Trump that the coronavirus pandemic is expected to do $20 to $30 billion in damage to New Jersey’s economy for which the state would require federal assistance, saying that he sees New Jersey and the federal government working as a partnership to get the economy up and running again.
Murphy thanked Trump for the assistance already received by New Jersey.
“You all in the here and now are helping in a big way,” said Murphy. “I’m told we were the number one recipient of ventilators. We got them.”
President Trump also lauded Governor Murphy, saying that New Jersey “can’t have a better representative than this man.”
The governor said that he tested negative for Covid-19 at the White House, saying that the result made him feel “like a new man.”

Maybe its time he starts addressing the fact that hundreds of thousands of his citizens are struggling and can not get through to his antiquated unemployment office!!! Maybe before u shut everything down, u make sure u can properly deal with it!!
For the life of me, I cannot figure out why the media is not all over this story. The fact is unemployment is a joke. There is nobody to talk to. Nobody replies to e-mail! Maybe the Attorney General can assign some of his agents to assist the Dept. of Labor instead of harassing citizens trying to make ends meet!

The President as always was gracious and caring for all states. As long as the Dems dont give him garbage and they treat him like a mentch the President will work with you. Problem is Dems just want power at all costs and dont care about the citizens.
Listen to Nancy Pelosi today, she is a total joke. All she does is demean the President and then when President Trump reacts he is called the bad guy!
President was willing to work with anyone when he came to Washington but boy did the Dems give him problems.
