As a Zchus Refuah Shelaima Chaim Aryeh Zev ben Aidel (Rav Ginzburg) and other Cholei Yisroel, as well as for L’zecher Nishmas Betzalel Reuven ben Yehoshua, a few generous sponsors in Lakewood have gotten together to help the Lakewood community with free hot dog meals today, Erev Bedikas Chometz.
12,000 hot dogs will be given out, beginning at 4:30 PM at Toras Aharon on Summer Avenue. First come first serve.
The event has been coordinated with the Lakewood Police Department to ensure maximum protection for all involved.
Sounds wonderful, but logistically how are they going to do this with social distancing and all?

@my take- the food will be distributed the same way the school lunches are. There will be multiple traffic lanes and as you approach the person who is distributing the food, you tell them how much you need and they place in you car. All workers will be masked and gloved. No one is to exit their car.

What a chesed! There is no one like klal yisroel. As we were circling the parking lot to reach the food tables, I felt like we were all circling Rabbi Ginsberg with zechusim. May he and all the cholim merit a refuah shelaima b’korov mamash.
