2. i have heard from someone that felt they were losing the grip and reached out for help. they were told to ignore the governor’s oppressive orders and go out and do some non essential shopping. after a few hours they felt that they recovered their stability. i will not share any names because the governor can send the state police after them for trying to save their sanity and their family.

   • Stop it, you weirdo. He’s a good person, and you and I both know that. This pandemic is China’s fault for going out of hand, lets get that straight. I think you might have some mental issues you probably need help with.

     • The pandemic itself is no one’s fault.

       If you read Wikipedia articles like “list of epidemics”, “pandemic severity index”, “list of human disease case fatality rates”, etc – that should put things in context. We are very lucky to not be living during a serious plague, but small outbreaks are always a fact of life.

       As many as 80,000 people a year in the USA, mostly the elderly, die of the regular seasonal flu. COVID is 2 or 3 times worse, until there’s more immunity, better treatment, and vaccines – but for the vast majority of this nation of 320,000,000+ people, life goes on as before.

       A more serious problem we are now having, more deadly than the virus itself, is an epidemic of GOVERNMENT FAILURE. For tinpot authoritarians large and small all over the world, from Xi to Putin to many US state governors to some local busy bodies – this is their chance to push for unwarranted righteousness and authority.

       Doctors used to make a pledge to “FIRST DO NO HARM”, but governments make no such pledge, and they are not really accountable if their actions do a lot more harm than good.

   • The government-mandated lock-downs are killing a lot more people than COVID-19.

     The medial age for COVID deaths is people in their 80s, most of whom were already on their deathbed from other causes. They have my utmost sympathies, but the lockdown is resulting in harm to 100% of the population.

     The economy affects everyone, especially the poor. Millions are out of work because of the lockdowns.

     There’s now an increase in substance abuse, suicides, domestic violence, and mortality from all other causes. Cancer patients are missing their treatments, people are engaging in more unhealthy behavior that increases risk of heart attack or stroke, etc…

4. There is a special place in **** for our governor. He has done incredible damage to this state, and lives will not be the same due to his poor decisions. My heart goes out to the victim’s families and friends.

6. First this has nothing to do with anything of covid 19. No this is not blood on murphys hand . This poor teenager had depression for a long time .. please respect that family and not try to make it about politics and lockdowns because that is not the case here.

   • I respect that you are a close friend. I know many people with depression. including myself, and this fiasco is definitely a trigger and the numbers keep going up. BDE. If you’ve never suffered from chronic depression. Lo Aleinu, you have no idea what the cause is.
