  1. He was a father to all his Talmidim. He was burning with the fire of Torah and Mussar. He gave over tha passion and Mesorah of his Rabbeim Maran Rav Aron Kotler Zt”l and R’ Yoshe Ber of Brisk. He will be sorely missed

  2. This is weeks after the rebetzin was niftar! The Rosh Hayeshiva and Rebitzen Had true mesiras nefesh for the Talmidim. they will surely be missed by all of us. One of the many things that they portrayed is the Simchas Hachaim that they had Which is hard to match! may they be a meilitz yosher for all of Klal Yisroel!

  3. As a son of Rav Avigdor Miller and talmid of Rav Ahron Kotler, he bridged the worlds of Torah and Machshava at the highest level. His brilliant shiurim were as deep and direct as his straightforward shmuessen, and his love and devotion for every talmid was so blatantly evident.

  4. As a resident of Raintree I can say the Rosh HaYeshiva had a tremendous hashpah on our neighborhood. He was so warm and genuinely cared For each and every one of us. We were zocheh to have giant living amongst us. What a tremendous loss for our community and the Yeshiva world in general

  5. This is such sad news…
I learned by The rosh Yeshiva for about a yr & a half when the Yeshiva was on Ave P in Flatbush.
One of my first days there, the Rosh Yeshiva came over to me & asked me, ASKED ME, young kid of 19, what I thought of a certain sevarah.
It sent my confidence soaring and, after being expelled from the previous 4 yeshivos I attended it was like water to a desert traveler..
And I wasn’t the only Bochur he did this to.
R’ Shmuel was a big Tzaddik & a bigger Anav.

  6. he was my twelfth grade Rebbi in Yeshiva of Eastern Parkway.
I believe it was his “rookie” year. Rav Mottel Weinberg was Rosh Yeshiva at the time. Rav Chaim Epstein cam a year or two later.
    I shteiged under his tutelage.
