Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, Chai Lifeline has maintained its steadfast, sensitive support for families battling illness. While providing crucial assistance to individuals suffering through unimaginable tragedies, staff and volunteers continue to be there for Chai Lifeline families, who need help more than ever now.
Chai Lifeline launched the 2020 We’re Family Annual Campaign on Tuesday, May 5th, to ensure that every family battling illness continues to receive the vital assistance they need to get through their challenging times.
The campaign will kick off with a weekly series of Heroes among Us videos, which will highlight individuals who made an indelible impact on families in crisis. Dozens of virtual parlor meetings, a unique, entertaining version of the face-to-face meetings that have been held in the past, will take place in the coming weeks as well.
From rides to treatment and virtual hospital visits, to advocating for patients and providing financial assistance, Chai Lifeline staff and volunteers have been working around the clock to be there for families battling illness. Let’s unite as a kehilla to be there for them, so they can continue to be there for the most vulnerable in our community.
