There are only two days left until Shavuos, yet over 1,000 local families cannot afford food. They are relying on Tomchei Shabbos of Lakewood to be able to set the table and feed their children.
Will each family be able to get all the food they need?
It’s in your hands! TO HELP CLICK HERE!
After a record-shattering Pesach distribution, volunteers at the Tomchei Shabbos warehouse are preparing for the largest Shavuos distribution ever – as a result of the continued Coronavirus financial crisis. Tomchei Shabbos will be delivering fish, chicken, meat, wine, cheese, and everything else these families will eat over Shavuos.
But Tomchei Shabbos needs to be able to pay for all this…And the deliveries need to go out very soon…
The least we can do for these families is to make sure that their children will have food on Yom Tov. Please make sure that Tomchei Shabbos can get every delivery out – on time. They can only do it with your help!

What about all the extra Food Stamps and Shabbos boxes? Isn’t that helping?
To “Shabbos box”: You were joking, right? You don’t REALLY believe food stamps does it, or that Shabbos box comes out of thin air, do you? Let’s all help our brothers and sisters in need have a bakovodig beautiful Yom Tov.
Applied in March…unemployment pending, food stamps did not come yet(hoping they will).Shabbos box from the schools, they ran out at 3 locations,4th location said that it was not my school.BH for tomchei shabbos.
As someone “in the trenches” there is a huge misconception out there that there is so much money and food around. WHile we live in a Medina shel Chesed and they are BH doing a tremednous amount to help, there are many families strugeling desperately now. Lost income, slower business etc, and not everyone can get unemployment, etc. Lets help these heiliege mosdos who are always on the lookout and are the adresses where ppl turn to when they need help.
Where can I donate non perishables, i.e snack bags, apple juice…?
