Lakewood police officer okay after being struck by suspect’s rolling vehicle [PHOTOS]

A Lakewood police officer was hospitalized this afternoon after being struck by a suspect’s rolling vehicle.

The accident occurred on Lisa Robin Circle when the officer was reportedly trying to pull the suspect from the vehicle.

The officer, who was not identified, was transported to MMCSC.

Police Chief Greg Meyer tells TLS “the officer is okay, and being checked out as a precaution.”
