  1. suggestion
    for future
in every lease there should be a requirement for renters to have renters ins
it is not much money a month …and should be required
BH no one hurt and IH klal Yisrael will help

  2. i assume lakewood has some organizations
    but if not
kupath ezra in monsey has a dept for furniture
and i think someone in havestraw has a way to get free or very cheap new appliances…

  3. I don’t have renters insurance although I am a renter. I shall now make a donation to these families in need, in lieu of the renters insurance that I am lacking. May H’ insure me on the zchus of this mitzva.

  4. I think everyone should try to give here.
Regardless of if they had renters insurance or not, it usually only helps reimburse a percentage of replacement costs.

What I’ll never understand is why young couples often don’t have term life insurance.
At a young couples age it’s extremely reasonable (a few hundred a year) as opposed to the alternative of the whole kehilla having to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars all due to the negligence on the husbands part.
