BREAKING: Governor Murphy to sign Executive Order easing major social distancing restrictions

Governor Murphy will be signing an Executive Order to ease certain restrictions put into place in order to mitigate the spread of Covid-19.

The governor will begin allowing nonessential retail stores to begin allowing customers inside their stores – up to 50% capacity – and outdoor restaurant dining will also be allowed to resume. The Executive Orders go into effect on June 15.

Governor Murphy has been under mounting pressure in recent weeks to ease restrictions that have been hampering the ability of small businesses to remain profitable.

  1. Shulls?!?!?! Shulls?!?!?! Shulls?!??! Shulls?!?!?! Shulls?!?!?! Yeshivos?!?!?! Yeshivos?!?!? Yeshivos?!?!?!

Does anyone care about them anymore. At this point daycamp seems to be everyone’s top priority

    • The Gemora says that Mageifos do not exists in a Bais Medrash where there are minyanim 3 times a day and where children learn Torah. In places of sin on the other hand, thats where they should be wearing those masks!! This Gov has to get his prorities straight!!

  2. Damaged is done, at this point it will be safer to keep it closed to prevent it from being looted.
The democrats are not only ready to demolish the economy but they are trying to impose their cheki sedom with help of media they are very close to bring down entire America
    Only tefilah can save us

  3. I’m all for opening up schools, shuls and daycamps, and stores but in E”Y schools were opened and a teacher came to school with the virus and infected a bunch of students, so maybe we still have to be cautious

    • Don’t forget though , BH even if kids get the disease, its not worse than the flu for them. The risk is so low. Its more dangerous for kids to wander in the streets with no structure. (Not even discussing the ruchnious).

  4. SEE KLI YAKAR TO DEVARIM 2:3. READ IT, UNDERSTAND IT, INTERNALIZE IT! STOP WORRYING ABOUT EISAV AND HIS ILK, START WORRYING ABOUT OURSELVES AND IF WE ARE DOING WHAT HASHEM IS EXPECTING OF US!!!

  5. Safety is #1

Please understand the governor is also human and is not G-d that knows everything. So thank you for working hard to ensure our lives can return back to normal and in a safe setting.

  6. The fact is Shul is ground 0 where it spead in our community ! Maybe we should be more into kedushas b”m and this whole thing wouldn’t have happened! ( we know main reason thing happen in the whole world is toli in Bnei Yisroel)
So instead of quoting thing that don’t say in gemora quote thing that do

    • And how do you know these “facts”? Are you G-d? Are you basing it on Dr’s that admit themselves that they dont know what they are talking about? Dont say that I am quoting gemoras that dont exist before you see Bava Kama 60B smack in the middle of the amud! BTW you cant work on kedushas bais hakneses if they are closed!!! Have more emuna and bitachon and go do mitvos- thats what we should be working on! Maybe not mosering on other Yidden that are doing mitzvos is something good to work on!!

      • YOu are misquoting the gemoro.
The gemoro says that in a time of dever a shul is a dangerius place, and you should not enter it alone, because the malach hamovis stores his keilim there.
Then the gemoro says that this is only the case if children arent learning there or if a minyan isn’t davening there.
So: what the gemoro says is that a shul has a special danger more than other places, except if there is a minyan or children learning, in whihc case it is not especially dangerous.
The gemoro does not say that if there’s a minyan or children learning there it is safe to enter.

  7. Why June 15TH Mr Governor? What is changing between now and june 15th that then nonessential can open and out door restaurants THEN as oppoise to now?
Good morning to all those sleeping all shuls reopened beside 3

  8. In eretz yisroel the virus is spreading in schools because they had shut down quite early in the pandemic and were strict about following protocol. Their death rate was one of the lowest worldwide due to this but because they shut down so fast the virus didn’t move through the country and now that they are trying to reopen they are seeing a spike in cases. Here we let the virus run through by shutting down later and not being as strict with following distancing giidelines. We had a higher death rate which of course is terrible but since the virus ran through if we open schools we will probably not have a spike in cases. Therefore it’s probably safer to open schools in Lakewood than in Israel

    • Aha. And would you mind letting us see your doctorate in epidemiology, just to confirm that you’re relating known principles and established science? We wouldn’t chalilah want hundreds of Frum Yidden to die because of false and foolish statements again, but of course, you know better. The doctors know nothing, but you know everything. Got it. You’re even willing to risk other people’s lives on your gamble. You must be so confident!

    • I am living in Israel and everything has opened with caution. Just because one school got infected I wouldn’t call that a new spike. We have extra protection here in eretz yisroel and that is why we fared better than most country’s.
