JUST IN: New Jersey Adds Eight States To Mandatory Quarantine List

New Jersey had added eight states to the list of places from which visitors to New Jersey must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.

In a joint announcement last week, the governors of New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut issued a travel advisory telling people from certain states deemed to be coronavirus hotspots to quarantine if they come to their states.

The newly-added states are California, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada and Tennessee.

The number of states from where visitors are required to quarantine is now at 16.

  1. Where are all the Rebels screaming Open The State? Oh thats right they might have covid!!! Haste Makes Waste! Even 770 AM Radio is starting to see the light and maybe people with common sense will see the Light!!! Gov Murphy was right !!!!!

    • Nobody is denying that you will see a spike of cases when things open up. It’s a virus and viruses spread. It supposedly was all about flattening the curve so hospitals don’t get overwhelmed. All of these states mentioned are seeing such high amounts because asymptomatic and young people are getting tested. Remember; back in march and april only high risk symptomatic people were getting tested. Everyone else was told to assume they have it and stay home. So now we either have herd immunity or the virus has run it’s course in New Jersey for now and hitting other places. All these other states seeing spikes are not seeing their hospitals getting overwhelmed. And if they do, they should take reasonable steps to slow the spread.
Bottom line it’s all about control. The CDC has you thinking if you would just wash your hands enough times & stand exactly 6 feet from everyone else, you can prevent the virus. (in Quebec they lowered it to like 4 feet since cases are going down. How does that make sense?) The Governor has you thinking that if we just rely on him, we’ll all be safe. In reality, it’s a virus. We can only do a reasonable level of hishtadlus. Locking everyone in caves for eternity is not a reasonable level.
