just spent 2 1/2 hours waiting for inspection. Website says place opens at 8:00 AM but it only opened at 9:00AM.
Why the mad rush?
I have, in the past, driven cars with expired inspections. Even when I got pulled over for some other infraction, I was never cited for expired inspection. The officer may have pointed out that it was expired but I think they changed the law or maybe I just had nice cops. Either way – I dont know of anyone who got an expired inspection ticket in the last 5+ years.
Maybe someone from LPD can shed some light on this matter.
