  1. Please note once again that I am adhering to all Lakewood Scoop positing guidelines, so please post this so we can get some answers immediately. We need clarification not more confusion. Our children’s lives depend upon clear and concise understanding of what we can expect and when.

    The latest emailed update from the NJ DoE (from Susan Naples of the NJ Doe) is that alll ESY / Summer programs are to follow the NJ Dept of Health guidelines for Summer Camps and can only begin on July 6.

    Now, what does tha mean for Lakewood public schools and the other private schools in Lakewood and the rest of MJ who serve special needs children?

    Is Lakewood still going to be starting July 1?
