Dashcam Video captures Hit & Run

The accident occurred on New Hampshire Avenue.

The suspect fled the scene but was followed by the victim until police arrived.

It turns out the suspect was unlicensed. He was charged.

  1. Not necessarily a hit and run.

    Its a little hard to tell, but it may be the fellow thought the other guy just didnt care and kept on going.

    Its crazy, but i’ve seen that before

    • But you were the one that hit him and then pulled over. He was stopped, mind you they were at the intersection like many drivers do in this town (pull past the end of the road and put your car in traffic but you swerved around him and struck him. How is that his fault? Just asking

    • Granted. But you dont know what the others point of view was. Just because you were the victim doesnt mean you know the intent.

  2. It’s crazy what is going on in Lakewood with unlicensed drivers. In two separate occurrences this past year my family members were hit by unlicensed (Mexican) and uninsured drivers. They are guilty, cause damages (my sons car was totaled!) and there is nothing to do about it.
