Can someone state which seminary issued the letter and if the info is accurate?
I would not bet anything on this one!!
At the rate the news is these last few months. If it starts snowing tomorrow I won’t even flinch.
Seriously, Yeshuas Hashem Kheref Ayin!
Very nice. How are we supposed to get passports if the US passport department is only open for emergency life and death passport applications?
Some seminarys have been sending out info how to get a passport even during the crisis… there are some services that provide ways to get passports in this crisis
Don’t believe them don’t hold your breath
Yeshiva World posted an article with many other letters from seminaries and yeshivot that they are going to open in Elul. Take it how you want, all I’m saying is that if it wasnt true, two reliable outlets wouldnt be releasing the story
Well maybe this is life/ death, the Torah is a life and death situation… But only for the ppl who aren’t gonna start playing around once they get to EY. Those that will actually sit in class/ shiur and listen like gutzkeits should be granted passports, and the rest… well they can make the same trouble in america under their parents watchful eyes…!
If you believe this is true for a second I have 3 bridges to sell you
I think Chaim Yankel bought already those bridges.
I only bought 2 of them
Leave it to Cuomo to somehow figure out a way to ban seminaries in Israel.
Does the Israeli government always make these decisions at 4 in the morning? Sounds suspicious.
Interesting the picture, Aerolineas Argentinas, which never flew to Israel.
More than one seminary has sent such a letter. Passports can be expedited hopefully 2 weeks before the flight (if passport agencies are up to phase 3) and if not they may allow expedited 3 days before the flight. For all those who say they don’t believe the allowed entry: yes, it could be things will change. But the seminaries have sent us constant updates on the fact that they are trying to get the gov to let us in AMID CORONA AND QUARANTINE!!! And now they got permission. Yes it is a risk, but they are taking all precautions necessary to ensure safety.
Seminaries make $25.000 ,a student. Millions are being lost if they dont open .they are desperate to create positive info which is not in their control. Seminaries should open in the America and stop wasting everyones money and aggravation and good possibility that govt will close them again in winter.
Yitzchok, I could not agree more. Maybe now is the time to have everyone sign that they will send their daughters to seminary in America and not spend more on tuition than they pay to the elementary, high schools and Batei Medrash that their children attend.
