Small business owners, “solopreneurs,” non-profits, and home-based businesses in three counties – Ocean, Passaic, and Essex – have up to 5 PM today, Wednesday, to apply for up to $10,000 through the New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s Small Biz Emergency Grant.
Applications are being reviewed on a first come, first serve basis and funds are limited, so it is best to apply as soon as possible if you are eligible.
To be eligible for grant consideration, your organization must have been founded on or before February 15, 2020, have 25 or fewer full-time workers and/or are a solo entrepreneur, you are in good standing with the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, currently registered as a business with the NJ Department of Treasury, and you are not aware of any reporting deficiencies and are current on all obligations with the Treasury’s Taxation Department.
