Yehi Zichra Baruch.
A good unassuming woman who cared a great deal about the needs of children who weren’t keeping up in the classroom. She was there to advocate for them and see to it that they get the services they need. תהא זכרה ברוך
She was the one who started Torah Academy in Philadelphia, which was Wynnefield Hebrew Day School back in the 1960’s. You have no idea how many of us old Philadelphians owe her Hakuras Hatov.
May she be a Malitz Yosher for her Chushava and dear husband and her wonderful children.
I remember both her father in law and mother in law from back in the old days.
A bright and kind אם בישראל. I remember our sons having the same בר מצוה פרשה. Without waiting for a response, she told me they were taking the following פרשה. Unheard of!המקום ינחם her beautiful משפחה.
The updated Levaya time is 8:45 not 9:30
What a special woman. She was a tremendous advocate for every student. The Chinuch in Detroit was so enhanced by her vision.
What are the hours for Shiva?
Yerachmiel, how do you remember her father in law? He was a Rebbi in BJ and the gabbai by Rabbi Yales z”l. He wasn’t in TA
