Trump Postpones Rally – President Trump was scheduled to hold another rally this weekend in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, but the campaign announced that they are postponing it over weather concerns. The president held a rally several weeks ago in Tulsa, Oklahoma that failed to attract the overflow crowds that were expected, with the arena being filled to less than a third of its capacity. With the campaign still on edge over the failed Tulsa rally, officials decided to pull the event so as not to have another bad display for the media to share.

RNC Breaks Fundraising Records – The Republican National Committee raised a staggering $131 million in June from supporters, smashing previous records for a single month of fundraising. The president’s campaign says it now has $295 million in cash-on-hand, and they are planning to spend that money on ad blitzes in battleground states across the country. “The Trump campaign’s monumental June fund-raising haul proves that people are voting with their wallets, and that enthusiasm behind President Trump’s re-election is only growing,” said campaign manager Brad Parscale. Still, Joe Biden outraised Trump in June, bringing in $141 million, although his campaign has much less cash-on-hand.

US Withdraws From WHO – President Trump officially withdrew the United States from the World Health Organization this week. Trump has berated the organization over their apparent water-carrying for China during the coronavirus health crisis. When China was lying about the severity and contagiousness of the virus, the WHO publicly backed them. President Trump has blamed both the WHO and China for the severe outbreak that is now taking place in the United States.

Michael Cohen Back In Prison – President Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen is back in prison after breaking the terms of his temporary release. Cohen was serving time after being convicted on fraud charges, but was released due to concerns surrounding Covid-19. But authorities picked him up and took him back to prison after photos emerged of Cohen dining at a restaurant in New York City, in violation of his release terms.
