  1. Gov Murphy and his administration has done an absolutely horrible job handling the situation.
Kudos to Lakewood leadership for trying to assist however they can.

  2. The situation is horrendous. I was in line yesterday to get a new registration from 7:30 AM until 4:30, only to have the door closed in my face. “Come back tomorrow” they said. Thankfully, they made a separate line for those that waited to get in yesterday, so it “only” took me 1 1/2 hours to get in to be told by the receptionist I need to print out a paper showing why I can’t register online…. After some pleading I was finally got my registration in less then 5 minutes. I am now severely sunburned, slightly dehydrated and and amazed at the DMV’s incompetence.

  3. Thank you Chief Meyer and Deputy Mayor Miller! you guys have a heart. The state of New Jersey could learn a thing or two from you!

  4. Cont.
However a big shutout goes to the amazing Lakewood police officers for trying their best to keep everyone calm and providing cold water. Their calm demeanor and humorous quips surely prevented a riot from breaking out.

  5. This is just my humble opinion.

I think that we have the best police department in New Jersey and maybe the USA.

I THINK THAT WE CITIZENS SHOULD GET TOGETHER AND HAVE A PARADE FOR OUR GREAT MEN IN BLUE!!!!

THEY ARE GOING THROUGH SUCH A DIFFICULT TIME, AND IT WOULD BE A BIG BOOST FOR THEM!!!

  6. My license was due for renewal I did the skip the trip and got in the mail 3 days later however my wife who’s license expired prior Covid doesn’t have the ability to skip the trip and renew online this is ridiculous that she would have to wait online from midnight I think if they offer more options of skipping the trip it would be helpful

  7. I must admit, for being on the most craziest line’s (since a Black Friday) this was insane and amazing at the same time! The DMV had no way to figure out a system in 4 months but yet, the police department of LAKEWOOD did the best they could- they were understanding, caring, they listened to us w/ understanding even though they were limited in what they could do- they deserve ???? for there patient’s there compatriot – lakewood police that were at DV MY HAT OFF TO U ALL AND IN MY HEART FOREVER!!!!! To the chief for allowing them to help us( THANK U) u should be proud of ur officers!!!( sorry for any spelling errors I can’t see r see on my phone the writing!
