Firefighters are battling a large blaze at Oorah’s “The Zone”.
The fire broke out in the camp’s kitchen, and spread from there.
A shortage of water is reportedly hindering efforts to extinguish the flames.
A Sefer Torah can be seen being driven away from the seen.
No injuries are being reported.
Developing.
The zone did an unbelievable job this summer. They had families come for weekends of inspiration in compliance with all Covid laws. It was amazing. May HKB”H give R Mintz the koach to rebuild and keep bringing so many closer to Hashem.
That looks like the Girls Camp
FYI the boys camp has a low archway over the entrance that blocks firetrucks from being able to pass into the Camp use this as a wake up call to remove it.
seeing as the boys camp has 2 gates one that goes straight into the camp and connects to all roads on that campus witch can be opened in case of an emergency and one more gate witch goes into the parking lot. It does have a low archway. Its the one that’s used for guest to stop anyone just driving onto the campus as a safety precaution. I think they can leave it there.
