Petirah of Reb Ovadya Yudkowsky Z”L, father of the Stechiner Rebbe

We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Reb Ovadya Yudkowsky Z”L, who was Niftar this morning in Lakewood.

Reb Ovadya Z”L is the father of the Stechiner Rebbe of Boro Park, and son in law of the previous Rebbe. His other children are R’ Ari (Raintree), R’ Moshe (Boro Park), and two other sons who reside in Eretz Yisroel.

Before moving to Lakewood several years ago, Reb Ovadya Z”L resided in Brooklyn.

The Levaya is scheduled to take place at 12:00 p.m. at the 7th Street Chapel in Lakewood (613 Ramsey Avenue).

I remember him giving the Daf Hayomi Shiur in the basement R’ Felder’s Shul in the 80’s.

A special neshama – Torah with midos and menchlichkeit. Rabbi Yudkowsky, z”l was assistant to Rabbi Yisroel Kanarek in Yeshiva Ohr Hameir when it was in New Rochelle. Beloved by all who knew him.
