COVID Driving Up Demand for Sukkahs

Chesed of Lakewood is reporting that their extremely active program – “The Sukkah Exchange” –  is receiving an unprecedented number of requests for Sukkahs.

Currently, over 100 families across the tri-state area are waiting for Sukkahs.

The most frequent given reason for requesting a Sukkah this year is the inability of families to go to their normal Sukkah hosts such as grandparents or out-of-town relatives due to COVID concerns.

Yom Tov is around the corner and the need is great.  If you have an unused Sukkah in good condition or Schach please go to sukkahexchange.org to donate it today.
