[COMMUNICATED] TTTO: One Fish, Two Fish
One block, two block
My block, your block
From there to here,
From here to there,
The need is great! It’s everywhere,
And Ahavas Tzedakah’s here to share
Oh me! Oh my! Oh me! Oh my!
How will they have funds to buy?
The mothers sigh. The kids they cry.
But we can put them on a high.
Will they feel bad or sad or glad?
Depends on how much cash we add.
Gift cards go to mom and dad
To swipe for things that make them glad.
Not one of them is like another.
But all of them depend on others
Will we treat them like a brother?
Of course! We love to help each other
Sometimes life turns upside-down
But everyone in our whole town
Deserves to smile, not to frown
‘Cause Yom Tov’s no time to be down
Their hats are old. Their house is cold.
But we can give them cards to hold.
That’s how the story can unfold
So give today! Please don’t withhold!
Hello, hello. Are you there?
We called to say it’s time to share.
‘Cause they deserve to eat and wear
The stuff they choose to bring them cheer.
Just like you – come take a look!
They also want to start to cook
So take your card or your checkbook
There you go! That’s all it took.
Just like a poem – two different lines
Join in sync to form a rhyme
When we rhyme, forces combine
To give to our neighbors, yours and mine
Some of them need Crocs and socks
Some of them need clocks and frocks
So when your block rep comes and knocks
Please help us out – right on your blocks!
